Police: One of Sasna Dzrer members wounded in shootout
Arayik Khandoyan, a member of the Sasna Dzrer group that continues to control a police building in Yerevan, has been wounded in his leg by police. Ashot Aharonyan, Spokesman for the Armenian Police, confirmed the information in a Facebook post. “Sasna Dzrer violated the demands of the law enforcement agencies and shots were heard in the area of the patrol police regiment. Law enforcement officers opened return fire wounding one of the group members, Arayik Khandoyan,” he said.
