Staffers from Ombudsman’s Office visit Hospital for Convicts PI
On Thursday, July 28, staffers of the Armenian Ombudsman’s Office visited the Hospital for Convicts penitentiary institution to see Aram mManukyan, Hovhannes Harutyunyan and Ashot Petrosyan, who were wounded in a firefight between the members of the Sasna Dzrer group and police officers on July 27. Representatives of the Office again visited the penitentiary institution this morning to re-check the sanitary conditions, after reading press reports about lawyers’ concerns over the conditions in the facility, the Ombudsman’s Office reported promising to provide additional information.
