Founding Parliament: FP member 'kidnapped' at night

Armen Mikaelyan, a member of the Founding Parliament movement, was stopped in the street at around 2 a.m. by 8-10 unknown persons in civilian clothes. Armen was returning home with his family from a rally in Khorenatsi street when the unknown men attacked him, forced him into one of the two black cars and drove away in an unknown direction. At 6 a.m., Armen phoned his wife to tell her that he was in the Malatia Police Department. Later he was transferred to a detention centre in Erebuni. Armen’s wife visited him at 11 a.m. during the conversation, Armen told her that he had been kidnapped by the police who put handcuffs on his wrists and a gun in his pocket, against his will.
