Sixty-three protesters set free, one placed under arrest
All citizens detained by police officers overnight were set free in the morning, A1+ learnt from the Police Press Service. About 64 people, who continued to demonstrate in support of the gunmen remaining inside the seized police station, were taken to police stations following the late night shootout between the gunmen and police officers. One of them was placed under arrest after ‘the police found a makeshift gun with him.’ Levon Barseghyan, Chairman of Gyumri-based Asparez Journalists' Club, was set free at 6:30 a.m.
