The life of all persons staying in intensive care units is in danger. We hope there will not be further complications or need for new surgery, Harutyun Mangoyan, Head of the Department of Rehabilitation and Therapy of the Erebuni medical centre, said on Wednesday. He says Pavik Manukyan, one of the members of the Sasna Dzrer group, who was wounded in his legs in the skirmishes outside the seized police HQ, came to himself in the morning but he is still connected to the apparatus for artificial respiration. Three people were rushed to hospital following the late night shootout between the gunmen and law enforcement officers. There were Pavel Manukyan, his son Aram Manukyan and one police officer. At present, a group of journalists is waiting for news outside the hospital building. Twenty-four members of the 31-member armed group still remain barricaded inside the police compound in Erebuni district which they seized on July 17.
