Members of Sasna Dzrer receive soft tissues, bones injuries (video)
The health condition of painter Ashot Petrosyan and Hovhannes Harutyunyan, members of Sasna Dzrer group, who were wounded on their legs by police fire at night, is of average gravity. “The condition is stable, they are both conscious, usual intensive therapy, anesthesia is carried out,” Harutyun Mangoyan, Head of the Department of Rehabilitation and Therapy of Erebuni medical center informed the journalists. He said that Ashot Petrosyan received gunshot wound on lower limbs and right femur fracture, and 29-year-old Hovhannes Harutyunyan received right femur and right shin injury with shin bones fracture. The doctor also informed that all the necessary diagnostic measures had been taken, including CT examination, first aid was provided and the injured were transferred to the surgery room, where primary surgical treatment of wounds was implemented, after which the wounded were again transferred to the intensive care unit. Harutyun Mangoyan has difficulty in answering how long the post-operative period will last, but the intensive care phase won’t last for long, as the condition of the wounded is of average gravity and controllable. “The fracture is a result of gunshot wound, there are soft tissues and bones injuries,” noted the doctor. By the way, the relatives announced that the lawyers refused to show legal aid to the wounded. Later it became known that Hayarpi Sargsyan, lawyer at Against Legal Arbitrariness NGO, will defend their interests.
