Brother of freedom fighter, who seized police station, doesn’t accept his guilt
The term of detention of freedom fighter Ararat Khandoyan, who is brother of Arayik Khandoyan (Lone Wolf), member of Sasna Dzrer armed group, which seized Erebuni police station, today will be appealed at the Court of Appeal. Before that advocate Ara Gharagyozyan visited Ararat Khandoyan. “He asked me to inform the journalists that he is kept in custody for his views and his brother’s act,” the advocate told “A1+” Ararat Khandoyan is charged with participation in mass disorders on Khorenatsi street. According to the words of Ara Gharagyozyan, he didn’t hit anybody, on the contrary, he urged the citizens to calm down. The defendant doesn’t accept his guilt. Ararat Khandoyan has serious health problems, but he isn’t provided with necessary medicine in Nubarashen prison. The freedom fighter was arrested on July 21.
