Americans expect 3 medals from Armenia in Rio 2016
American famous “Sports Illustrated” magazine released a special issue dedicated to Rio-2016 Olympic Games. American journalists noted the names of all the athletes and teams, which aspire to the medals. In particular, in the men’s football tournament number one favorite is considered the team of Brazil. In the women’s tournament Americans believe the victory of their national team. The magazine signals out three athletes from Armenia as candidates for medals. They are Greco-Roman wrestler Arthur Aleksanyan, 1st place, weightlifter Simon Martirosyan, 2nd place, and gymnast Harutyun Merdinyan, 3rd place. In general, American journalists expect the most medals for the Olympic team of the USA- 115 medals (45 gold, 31 silver, 39 bronze).
