А1+’s journalist has talked to a group of women who came from Sari Tagh street to join citizens in Khorenatsi street. The women said they had taken to the street to protect their rights the police hindered their protest. However, the women were able to break through the police cordon and join demonstrators in Khorenatsi street. “We joined the police and demanded them to free our boys and to stop the chase after them. At first, they did not answer any of our questions. They were laughing at us and talking to one another when the mother of the detained boy was speaking,” said one of the women. When asked about their demand, the same woman said, “We demand that they release Harutyun, Hrayr and stop prosecution against others. Every day they visit families, open drawers, search every corner, take people out of the toilet and take them to a police station. The clashes were provoked by the police, this is not the first time that they have confronted with people. They promised us that they would not detain anyone, but they cheated us and detained two of them.”
