The situation is relatively calm in the village of Movses in Armenia’s Tavush marz (province), the head of the village, Ararat Avalyan, told A1+ on the phone. “We have started maintenance and repair of village roads which were damaged by hails and downpours. We continue our work, ignoring Turks,” Mr Avalyan said. Azerbaijan began firing in the direction of Movses village starting 5.10 p.m. on July 21. The adversary fired at the children who were playing in a stadium near the village school. “They saw children playing there and opened fire,” the head of the community said. He assured us that “the children are not scared, they have got used to shooting.” “Two hoys later they went to play in the same stadium,” Mr Avalyan added. Asked whether the border tensions are somehow connected with the events taking place in Yerevan, Mr Avalyan said, "I do not think so."
