Attackers and hostages provided with food and medication - NSS
Armenia’s National Security Service (NSS) says hostage takers and the police officers held by them at the Erebuni police building have been provided with food and medication. “Another hostage has been set free today police and National Security Service (NSS) as a result of ongoing negotiations and other joint measures taken by the police and NSS. Anyway, despite the release of hostages the NSS sys it cannot guarantee the desired outcome or exclude a tragic end to the crisis, the responsibility of which will lie on the attackers. “The terrorists must realize that they have no alternative to unconditionally fulfilling the demands of the country’s authorities as soon as possible. Armani’s law-enforcement bodies still hope that the members of the armed group will only be guided by prudence while making decisions,” the NSS said in a statement.
