Earthquake on Georgia-Armenia border (video)
The Seismic Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia MES informs that on July 12 a magnitude 4.7 earthquake has been registered at 14:14 Yerevan time (10:14 GMT). The geographical coordinates are latitude 41.200 N and longitude 43.920 E (at Georgia-Armenia border, 13 km north-east of Bavra village) at a depth of 10 km. The force at the epicenter measured up to 6-7 on the Richter scale. The earthquake was felt in the northern sector of Armenia, Gyumri, Stepanavan and Alaverdi- 4-5 on the Richter scale, and in Yerevan- 3 on the Richter scale.
