Pepo to be presented to Armenian audience in a new way
Yerevan-based State Academic Theatre after playwright Gabriel Sundukyan is not celebrating the 191st birthday of the Armenian playwright. The building is under repairs. The staff is currently working on the play "Pepo", which will be presented in the renovated theatre in September, Honored Artist of the Republic of Armenia, a leading actor of the Sundukyan Theatre, Razmik Khosroev, told A1+. All actors of the theatre will play in the performance. The artistic director is Armen Elbakyan. Razmik Khosroev says "Pepo" will be presented to the audience in a new way. “We shall try to present it in a way that Sundukyan would write today,” the actor said adding that the entire cast is excited by the new approach to the performance.
