"FESTIVE" MEASURES ON INTERNATIONAL PRESS FREEDOM DAY

Several Armenian Mass Media on the initiative of National Press Club on May the 3rd - the International Press Freedom Day - will hold a meeting through protest mass measures, a march and "Press Enemy" honour award. The measures will be carried out under the motto " No censorship!", by the following demands

a. To take out of the circulation the Law draft on Mass Media

b. Declare invalid the illegal competition after what "A1+" and "Noyan Tapan" TV Channels were banned from broadcasting.

The protest action will begin on May the 3-rd at 13.00, from the nearby square of the Press House / Arshakunyats Street, 2 /. All those who appreciate freedom of speech and press are invited
