Putin intends to restore trade and economic relations with Turkey
In a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed condolences to Turkish people in connection with yesterday’s heinous terrorist attack in Istanbul. Putin said everything will be done to ensure the flow of Russian tourists to Turkey, at the same time stressing that Turkey must do everything ensure their safety. Putin said he had instructed the relevant agencies to restore trade and economic relations between the two countries in question, the Kremlin reports.
