Armenian Parliament to hold extraordinary sitting on June 27 (video)
By the decision of Armenian Parliament Speaker Galust Sahakyan, under Article 70 of the RA Constitution and at the initiative of the RA Government, the National Assembly convenes an extraordinary sitting at 12:00 by the agenda established by the initiator. The new Electoral Code and the agreement on creating a united regional air defense system in the Caucasian collective security region are also included in the agenda. A1+ will be live streaming the NA sitting. The agreement signed between Russia and Armenia in Moscow in December has caused concerns in Armenia. Many believe that it poses a threat to Armenia’s independence and even security At 12.00, a protest action will be held outside the NA building against the agreement which, according to the opponents will place Armenian airspace under Russian control.
