Prosecutor Andranik Simonyan was to hand up an indictment today. Last summer, Artak Gevorgyan drove a cardboard tank through Yerevan streets in an unusual ‘street art protest’ and hit the metal gates of the National Security Service. Shortly afterwards, he was arrested and charged with violating public order by way of disrupting the normal activities of security personnel at the NSS building, causing fears over property protection. Judge Gagik Poghosyan has retired to the consultation room.
