14-year-old Harut Minasyan, unlike other Syrian Armenians of the same age, speaks Eastern Armenian. “My mother also spoke that way. That’s why it was easy for me,” he told “A1+”. Harut’s family moved to Armenia 4 years ago. He is telling about his current life with pleasure, “We were welcomed here, there was no discrimination.” The only difficulty was overcoming Russian, “I study at number 122 school with Russian bias. That’s why I had difficulty in studying Russian. But I was able to overcome.” Together with other Syrian Armenian children today he has been taking part in the photo exhibition initiated by “Save the Children” organization. It is dedicated to the World Refugee Day. Through “Save the Children” Harut has managed to get acquainted with many sightseeings of the homeland, “For example Geghard, Temple of Garni, Letters’ Park.” Harut wants to become a dentist. He hopes that he can easily find a job in the homeland and will not have to move to other country.
