Indian Ambassador to bring his favorite dogs to Armenia (video)

Yogeshwar Sangwan, newly appointed Ambassador of India to Armenia, will teach yoga to Armenians. Newly appointed Ambassador intends to promote spread of yoga in our country and one of his steps in his office will be the organization of large-scale show of yoga exercises with the participation of Armenian and Indian yoga specialists in one of the stadiums of Yerevan on June 21, International Yoga Day. Yogeshwar Sangwan talked about this during the discussion on the topic “Promotion of impulse of the Armenian-Indian relations” organized at Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi. He discussed his future plans in Armenia at the meeting with the representatives of the Indian Armenian community, Armenian and Indian students, by noting that he is a follower of Kriya yoga and intends to start its spread from the Indian Embassy. “Yoga will become a part of the daily life of embassy’s employees, and the first group will include Armenian and Indian employees of the embassy,” he noted. In the interview with the journalist of “A1+”, Ambassador noted that besides yoga, he will disseminate information about Bollywood, Indian cuisine, fashion and culture. To note, before being appointed India’s Ambassador to Armenia, Yogeshwar Sangwan was Deputy Ambassador of India to Islamic Republic of Iran. He will arrive in Armenia on June 9. He has heard of Armenians for many times and he is very delighted. He is aware of the history of our country, but it will be his first visit. He is coming to Armenia together with his wife, children, parents and favorite dogs. “I know that everything will be fine and I will do my best so that the cultural, economic, trade and medical ties deepen between Armenia and India. My family members are mostly interested to see Mount Ararat, where Noah landed. We all also plan to learn Armenian,” he said. Watch more in the video!
