Karabakh parliamentary factions on violence against opposition lawmaker
The political parties represented in Nagorno-Karabakh’s National Assembly have issued a statement condemning the violence against NKR lawmaker Hayk Khanumyan. In a statement issued on Monday, the parliamentary factions of the Homeland, Democracy, Dashnaktsutyun and Movement-88 parties view the attack on the lawmaker as a serious blow to the democratic principles in Artsakh. At the same time, they condemn the incident and express confidence that law enforcement bodies will undertake all necesssary measures to identify and punish the perpetrators of the crime.
