Penitentiary institution on Shirkhanyan's health condition
Yerevan-Kentron” Penitentiary Institution has responded to an article published by A1+ on Friday about the health condition of a former Deputy Defense Minister of Armenia. A1+ Company today published an article on its website (www.a1plus.am) about the health condition of Vahan Shirkhanyan. The source cited Shirkhanyan’s lawyer as saying that Shirkhanyan had another pulmonary infarction which, fortunately, did not have serious consequences. In this connection, we want to inform everyone that on April 4, 2016, Vahan Shirkhanyan went for an X-ray which revealed e right-sided pneumonia. He received appropriate treatment and after completing the course on May 20 he had another X-ray which did not show any visible changes in his lungs,” the penitentiary institution said.
