A. Asatryan: “I cannot make any predictions” (video)
Only during the upcoming months the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Artem Asatryan will know what Prime Minister meant, when he was speaking of reductions in the state apparatus, “There is no issue of making reductions.” As for the official vehicles used by the Ministry, Artem Asatryan clearly states that they [official vehicles] will be reduced by 41. How many people will be reduced in the whole state apparatus and made beneficiaries of the sector headed by Mr Asatryan? Minister again doesn’t know, “I cannot make any predictions.” Naturally, the expected reductions, as a result of which people will be relieved of their jobs, will not become a reason for social boom for the Minister, “As I think that there will be such decisions, which will wholly express the reality.” In fact, poverty and extreme poverty have been reduced by more than 2 percent in Armenia. By the way, extremely, very and simply poor people are differentiated in Armenia. The poor spend AMD 40 000 on food every month, and the extremely poor spend AMD 23 000.
