The event dedicated to Karen Demirchyan 70th anniversary took place at the Sport and Culture Complex named after him.

Demirchyan was ruling country not under the circumstances but only taking into consideration economic and political interests of the country, Gagik Harutyunyan, the head of Constitution Court said in his speech. Karen Demirchyan has altered the face of Armenian economy. People have named him Karen Builder.
