Armenian deaf wrestling team to participate in World Championship in Iran

The Armenian deaf wrestling team has left for Tehran, Iran, to participate in the World Championship, reports the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. The Ministry says Armenia will be represented by seven wrestlers: Sargis Sargsyan (59kg), Tigran Petrosyan (61kg), Zhora Grigoryan (71kg), Garik Poghosyan (74kg), Artak Terteryan (75kg), Narek Nikoghosyan (85kg) and Hovhannes Ayvazyan (98kg). The sources also reports that our youth deaf national team has returned from Tehran with three medals. Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler, Senik Serobyan (50kg), took gold, while Samvel Hovhannisyan (55 kg, freestyle wrestling) and Ararat Sargsyan (74 kg, Greco-Roman), won bronze medals.
