Gaspari's lawyer to appeal to higher court
The lawyer of civil activist Vardges Gaspari is going to file an appeal to a higher court, lawyer David Gyurjyan personally informed A1+. They are going to present a 15-page petition in which they challenge the constitutionality of the charges against the civil activist. The lawyer says the court did not consider the mitigating circumstances in the case. In March, the Court of General Jurisdiction of Shengavit administrative district fined Vardges Gaspari in the amount of AMD 450 000. Gaspari was found guilty of insulting a judge of the Administrative Court. The prosecutor had petitioned to fine the civil activist in the amount of AMD 400 000.
