Lori TV: Ex-Mayor of Vanadzor city wounded in Karabakh (video)
The first mayor of Armenia’s Vanadzor city, Andranik Harutyunyan, has been heavily wounded in one of the border positions when an enemy mine exploded. He lost one of his legs in the blast, Lori TV reports. Andranik Harutyunyan left for the Karabakh frontline with a group of volunteers and defended our borders with soldiers with an arm in his hand. Harutyunyan was taken from a Martakert hospital to the military hospital in Stepanakert where he is attached to respiration apparatus. Doctors assess his condition as grave, but stable. They are going to perform another operation to remove fragments from his body.
