Spokesperson: MoD will never comment on dismissals of high ranking military (video)
“In order to know the time, place and nature of the adversary’s whole actions, you must have all the documents of adversary’s headquarter,” said the MoD spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan. He rejected the news that mobilization has started in Armenia. Touching upon the dismissals of the MoD high ranking military, the RA MoD spokesman said that the MoD will never comment on the dismissals of the high ranking military. According to the MoD spokesperson, the adversary continues implementing movement and accumulation of the troops on the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijan. He has difficulty in answering what the reason for the movement and the accumulation of the troops is, anyway, he highlighted that the movement and the accumulation of the Azerbaijani troops are constant and haven’t been recently changed significantly. Touching upon the issue of getting armaments from the RF with 200 million loan, Artsrun Hovhannisyan noted, “The project of equipping our Armed forces with new military equipment is not only connected with the Russian loan, it neither started nor ends with loan. Armenia is rearming its army in a planned way; then there was no word about loan. Significant amount of armaments have been obtained.” Speaking about the armaments, Artsrun Hovhannisyan once again confirmed that we are fighting also using weapons of 1980s, “The best weapons of the world are the weapons of 1980s, especially in the Russian arsenal. I add, we are even fighting with the weapons of 1960s’, and even 1950s’, but the most important is that those weapons do their work.” More in the video
