Republic of Armenia Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan held a working meeting with UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Mr Bradley Busetto on May 2. During the meeting issues related to ensuring human rights protection guarantees both in legislation and in practice as well as matters pertaining to further development of the capacity building of the Human Rights Defender’s Office and more specifically the capacity building of its regional offices were discussed. Mr Busetto has emphasized the importance of the Human Rights Defender’s Office in ensuring the rights and freedoms and expressed readiness to implement projects in the framework of bilateral cooperation. Arman Tatoyan has underlined the role of the UN, and more specifically that of UNDP, and has confirmed his readiness to initiate joint projects in the framework of human rights protection and his willingness to expand the areas of cooperation.  The Office of the Human Rights Defender of the  Republic of Armenia
