Argentina to host the 12th Armenian Medical World Congress

First time ever, the 12th Armenian Medical World Congress (AMWC) will be held in 2017 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The conference uniting Armenian doctors and healthcare professionals from around the globe will be chaired by Dr. Daniel Stamboulian, a prominent infectious diseases doctor, the  President of  FUNCEI, FIDEC USA, and FIDEC Armenia foundations. Dr. Stamboulian is also the co-founder of the Argentine Society of Infectious Diseases and the Pan American Association for Infectious Diseases. In the frame of Dr. Stamboulian’s visit to Armenia, on May 2nd, 2016, the Embassy of Argentina in Armenia in cooperation with FIDEC Armenia Foundation will host a social event for Armenia’s leading doctors, public health professionals and policy makers. The goal of the event is to introduce Argentina as the next destination for Armenian Medical World Congress, to outline the scientific program of the conference, and to set an atmosphere for networking, meeting old colleagues, and  making new friends and partnerships.
