As Robert Nazaryan, the Yerevan City Mayor said the idea was by the school teachers' staff that had made an application to the Municipality on Karen Demirchyan's 70th birthday.
Rima Demirchyan informed that many articles and memoirs written about Karen demirchyan would be published. Demirchyan's bust was unvailed by his relatives participation.
The 139th school is the biggest one in the Community. 1600 students are at school. The school has been functioning since 1968. The school has many problems but priority N 1 is the problem of repair. The teachers have great hope for Karen Demirchyan's name.
In connection with Karen Demirchyan's 70th birthday the school staff had organized tree planting action.
