Armenian MoD: 13 cases of ceasefire violation on Armenia-Azerbaijan border
Thirteen cases of ceasefire violations were registered in the northeastern section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border on the night of April 29, this according to the Ministry of Defense of Armenia. The Azerbaijani side used various caliber firearms and sniper rifles to open sporadic fire on Armenian positions. “Defense Army’s vanguard units continue to confidently carry out their combat duty and control the operative situation along the entire perimeter of the Line of Contact,” the Ministry said in a statement. Azerbaijan also violated the fragile truce along the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces overnight, firing on the Karabakh positions from different caliber weapons.
