EOI condemns Azerbaijani actions in the NKR
The European Ombudsman Institute (EOI) issued an official statement condemning the Azerbaijani atrocities and published the NKR Ombudsman’s interim report. The European Ombudsman Institute (EOI) has posted on its official website the NKR Ombudsman’s interim report on the Azerbaijani atrocities committed in NKR during April 2-5 against peaceful civilians of the Nagorno-Karabakh and Defense Army soldiers. The EOI has also officially condemned the Azerbaijani particularly cruel attitude against Armenian civilian settlements and peaceful civilians. The EOI expressed its concern that the NKR civilians have been subject to humiliation and inhuman actions. The EOI also touched upon the attacks on civilian settlements, schools and kindergartens in particular, impermissible acts of violence against the children and the elderly people by noting that these actions are violating the European high values of human rights and principles of international humanitarian law.
