Armenian delegation ignored Azerbaijan’s provocation (video)
During the Sports Dances International Olympiad held in Tbilisi the representatives of Azerbaijan presented their national dance under Ara Gevorgyan’s “Artsakh” composition. The Armenian delegation was surprised at that, but our delegation didn’t submit any complaint to the organizers. “If we complained, the Azerbaijanis would give it a political color, but we didn’t need it. On the contrary, we thought that we could be happy about it that Azerbaijan performs under the music of an Armenian composer. Maybe they don’t have such music,” Head of our delegation, Chairman of “Armenian Association of Performing Arts” Artashes Mesropyan told the sports correspondent of “A1+”. As he noted, Armenian dancing ensembles and solo dancers won 20 different medals at the Olympiad, and our team took the first place among 12 countries. As for our neighbors, they scored zero for the dance “Artsakh”.
