Hripsime Khurshudyan wins gold at European Weightlifting Championships
Armenian weightlifter Hripsime Khurshudyan gained the title of the champion at European Weightlifting Championships 2016. Today during the women’s super heavyweight category competition underway in Norway, our weightlifter performed confidently and lifted 113 kg in snatch exercise and 137 kg in clean and jerk exercise. With 250 kg result in two exercises, Hripsime Khurshudyan took the first place and became champion of Europe. Another Armenian sportsman, 17-year-old Arpine Dalalyan, took the 6th place with 213 kg result in the same weight category.
