The Ukrainian Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, has announced about his resignation, blaming politicians' failure to enact "real changes." Announcing his resignation on Twitter, Mr Yatsenyuk called for the formation of a new government immediately to prevent "destabilization of [the] executive branch during a war". He said he would submit his resignation application to the parliament in Tuesday, April 12. Analysts say Yatsenyuk will be replaced American of Ukrainian descent.
