Film shot with eight cameras in Yerevan
On 27 February at 15:00 and 19:00 within the framework of the British Film Festival Special Programme ''Maxine Peake Hamlet'' will be screened in Small Theater (Abovyan 11). As the British Council informs, Shakespeare’s most iconic work explodes with big ideas and is the ultimate story of loyalty, love, betrayal, murder and madness. From its ground-breaking, sell-out run at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre comes a film version of this unique and critically acclaimed production of Hamlet, with BAFTA nominee Maxine Peake in the title role. Shot creatively with eight cameras ‘in the round’ Hamlet captures the spirit of the play to create a visceral and cinematic experience. The entrance is free.
