Levon Sargsyan: I have never said such a thing (video)
“I have never said such a thing, you are mistaken,” Serzh Sargsyan’s brother Levon Sargsyan said on February 12 in reply to journalists’ question whether he still thought that Serzh Sargsyan must stay in power. Journalists gathered near the Presidential Palace at 36 Baghramyan Avenue reminded Levon Sargsyan that he had said it in his last interview. “No, I said he must continue to head the party [Republican Armenia Party-HHK],” Levon Sargsyan corrected. HHK Spokesman Eduard Sharmazanov added, “I believe that after the President’s speech you will know what he wanted to say. It will not be correct if I stand here and make statements before the President’s speech.” He added that he had nothing else to add since the meeting was not organized by his party and he had been invited by the President. Representatives of different political forces were invited to the Presidential Palace today to a meeting with Serzh Sargsyan.
