Hakob Hakobyan’s high-profile film to be screened in April (video)

The high-profile film “Memory” about the Armenian Genocide shot on the script written by Hakob Hakobyan, former lawmaker of the Republican Party of Armenia (HHK), which was banned from being screened in 2015, will premiere in April. At present closed screenings are underway. “It is the duty of Armenians to remind the world of the crime committed not against us, but the whole mankind,” said Vahan Khachatryan, post-production producer of the film. Film “Memory” tells the story of Artamet village of Western Armenia. Only few resident of the village managed to survive the genocide. The shooting of the film took two years. “I have acted in many films and performances, but this one was the most important,” noted actor Arsen Hakobyan. Details on the video
