Armen Ashotyan sacked: Successor for sacked Minister of Education and Science already known
Our reliable sources at the Ministry of Education and Science confirm that Minister Armen Ashotyan has been dismissed from office. Yesterday Ashotyan posted on his Facebook a photo of his new, comfortable office in the government building. Rumour has it that Levon Mkrtchyan from the Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutyun will assume the post of the Minister of Education and Science for a fourth time. Ashotyan will be appointed either Secretary of the Security Council or ambassador, although many believe that he will be become Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly in the long run.
