European Chess Championship to be held in Yerevan
European Senior Chess Championship 2016 will be held in Yerevan, informs the official website of European Chess Federation. The tournament will be held at the Chess House named after Tigran Petrosyan from June 4 to 14. The championship will be held in two age categories- for those who are at the age of 50-64 and for those over 65. The winners will be decided by Swiss system, 9 rounds. Total prize fund is 10.000 EUR. The participants of the tournament will stay in Ani Plaza Hotel.
