Armenia freestyle wrestlers hold training camp with the US team
Armenia freestyle wrestling team is holding training in the Ukrainian Olympic base, Koncha-Zaspa, informs press service of the Armenian National Olympic Committee. “Here we are holding a joint training camp with the national teams of the USA, Brazil and Ukraine. After it we are going to participate in a tournament to be held in Kiev basing on the results of which the squad going to the European Championship will be formed,” Arayik Baghdadyan, the head coach of Armenia freestyle wrestling team said to ANOC. Armenian will be represented in Kiev tournament by Garik Barseghyan, Garnik Mnatsakanyan (57kg), Volodya Frangulyan (61kg), Davit Safaryan (65kg), Valter Margaryan (70kg), Grigor Grigoryan, Varuzhan Kajoyan (74kg), Musa Murtazaliev, Shamir Atyan, Hajimurad Nurmogamedov, Sargis Hovsepyan (86kg), Edgar Yenokyan, Andranik Galstyan (97kg) and Levan Berianidze (125kg). At the end of February and at the beginning of March the Armenian freestyle wrestling team will hold a training camp in Stayki (Belarus), after which our team will leave for Riga to the European Championship.
