Snow, increasing winds in Armenia
There are close and heavy-going roads in Armenia as a result of heavy snowfalls and increasing winds, says the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Vardenyants mountain pass is close while Vaik-Saravan, Noyemberyan-Kirants roads and the turns of Dilijan are heavy-going. All other roads are open. The Ministry says snow removal efforts continue around the clock.
