There are close, heavy-going roadways in Armenia, says Ministry
Armenia’s Ministry of Transport and Communications says that Spitak-Gyumri roadway has become heavy-going while Berd-Chambarak roadway is close because of severe blizzards and snowfalls. Some sections of Vardenyats mountain pass are covered in black ice. It is snowing in Spitak, Sisian and Goris. All other roads are open. The Ministry says that snow cleaning continues on the roads.
