Disturbing birth rate in Shirak marz (video)
If once Armenia was considered to be a country of the young and the birth rate was high, at present, according to the statistics, the elderly people prevail in the country, which makes us consider that the nation is aging. Though during the recent years birth rate growth has been registered in the republic, the study of the specialists shows that this index isn’t enough for rejecting such predictions. According to data of Gyumri Territorial Department of Civil Acts Registration Office, 1660 births and 1477 deaths were registered in Gyumri in 2015.
