During today’s question-and-answer session with the government, opposition lawmaker Nikol Pashinyan asked the executive to verify the information about Prime Minister’s wealth. “According to reports, starting 1991 Hovik Abrahamyan has been holding various positions and accumulated a significant amount of wealth, abusing powers. Now he has become one of the well-off people of the third republic. According to the same reports, he [Hovik Abrahamyan] has two newly built blocks of flats in the centre of Yerevan, about 20 apartments, 2 dozens of gas filling stations. He also owns 50 percent of Artfood Company, 30 percent of Ararat Cement CJSC, several casinos, a holiday home in Crimea, and another in Tsakhkazor and so on. I urge the Prime Minister to instruct the relevant authorities to verify the authenticity of the reports and present the results to people. A dependent person wants to spoil our good mood, but I want to inform our people that I am ready to present this man everything that is not included in my declaration of personal property and revenues.
