The round-the-clock sit-in announced by the New Armenia Public Salvation Front, a radical opposition movement campaigning against the controversial constitutional referendum, continues at Liberty Square in Yerevan. New Armenia’s united opposition headquarters urges everyone to join the sit-in and their struggle against the regime. The movement says a civil action and a meeting are planned at the square at 12.00 December 2. “Your participation is very important,” said the united opposition headquarters of the New Armenia movement which includes parliamentary opposition Heritage party, the extra-parliamentary Founding Parliament group, as well as other political and civic forces.
