New Armenia starts round-the-clock sit-in in Yerevan (video)
The New Armenia Public Salvation Front has announced a round-the-clock sit-in in Yerevan in an attempt to thwart the controversial constitutional referendum initiated by Serzh Sargsyan’s administration and unseat the current government. Addressing ralliers on Tuesday evening, Leader of the Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian urged all people of Armenia to struggle for the creation of a new Armenia. New Armenia will hold another rally at 6pm which will be followed by a march. The leaders of the opposition movement invited everyone to participate in the protests.
