There must be differentiation between new mothers of Yerevan and Noyemberyan (video)
Members of “Yes and No” reality show today have met with the residents of Noyemberyan. A man asked Samvel Farmanyan from “Yes” camp why Noyemberyan isn’t considered a borderline town, “Noyemberyan isn’t considered a borderline town, while it has suffered the most victims. It is a direct target. Noyemberyan must be given a status of a borderline town so that we can make use of government’s projects.” In reply to this, Farmanyan said, “Alas, I am not the right person who can help you with this issue, but I must say that it isn’t only in Noyemberyan, there is also such a problem in Shirak marz. If you write a letter, after December 6 referendum, I will hand over it to the Government.” The man wasn’t pleased with the answer of the lawmaker and he continued, “Rights of people living in borderline areas must be highlighted. A teacher working in borderline area receives AMD 40-50 thousand salary, both a pensioner and a teacher living in a borderline area must receive higher. To add, women in Yerevan give birth to their babies in the most prestigious conditions and receive AMD 50 thousand for the first child, and the women in Noyemberyan, who give birth to their babies under shootings and sometimes even don’t manage to reach hospital, are also given AMD 50 thousand, there must be a strong differentiation.”
