Monstrous threats were prevented: Gorik Hakobyan: Armenpress
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Armenia National Security Service Director, Colonel General Gorik Hakobyan responded to some comments on arrest of the criminal gang in Yerevan, on November 25. “After the known measures of NSS strange and ambiguous comments appeared in Media as if it allegedly was “performed” or it aimed to terrorize the opposing forces attempting to express political shade to the special operations”. “Let me remind that NSS is a politicized institution and all our actions aim to assure the safety of Armenian Republic and its citizens. A criminal gang was discovered and arrested, a large quantity of weapons was seized, monstrous dangers were prevented and it is difficult to imagine how many victims and what consequences would cause the activity of the gang. I think that in this case one needs to express gratitude to the servicemen who fulfilled the special actions instead of making strange comments.”
