Residents closed the street: one person taken to hospital (video)
At the moment the residents of the 33rd district (Firdus) of Yerevan have closed one part of Tigran Mets Avenue. The policemen are removing them by force in order to open way for cars. The residents are demanding a meeting with Prime Minister in connection with the issue of their flats. As a result of jostle with the policemen the health condition of one of the residents deteriorated and she was taken to hospital. The woman was claiming that the policemen had hit her in the stomach. These people have been living in rented houses for already 8 years: their flats were recognized eminent domain and were pulled down.
